Medieval Nerd
Howdy Folks, Got recently a nice Corsair 550D and a matching AX760i to bring it no shame. I had no problem with the Corsair Link software, until yesterday. For some reason, now the Corsair Link software works fine when PSU fan profile is set to default, but if I'd like to set it to a fixed %. The PSU immediately shifts to 100% ~2000rpm... What could be causing this? I haven't upgraded anything since I got it. I was going to try and update Corsair Link to the latest version, but I realized I already had it. Version 2.6.5214 Anybody ran into similar issues?

wytnyt
sounds as tho the profile is corrupted, you could try deleting the profiles, reset to the default profile and see if this corrects the issue...
JohnOrion
this seems to be a problem with the PSU. I had this issue when trying to set it to a fixed percentage. If you increase it to 100% you will not be able to change it. It will stick at 100 percent even if you uninstall the software and reinstall it. The way I found to fix this issue is to shut down your computer ... unplug the PSU from the power and turn on your PC to drain any "stored" energy. Then plug in the PSU again and start your computer. The fan will be set back to the default settings.
Corsair Employees jonnyguru Posted April 1, 2015 Corsair Employees Share Posted April 1, 2015 this seems to be a problem with the PSU. I had this issue when trying to set it to a fixed percentage. The fan will be set back to the default settings. That's because the settings made in Link are saved on the PSU untill the PSU loses AC power. That doesn't necessarily mean the problem is the PSU itself. You don't need Link installed for the PSU to behave however it was last programmed with Link as long as the PSU stays plugged in.
