Based on Lenovo's private memory brand specification, it looks like: CMSX16GX3M2B1600C9 or CMSX16GX3M2A1600C10 are both appropriate kits to max the laptop out to 16GB. Very few laptops allow overclocking, so higher data rates aren't attractive, but a lower CL rate might be auto-detected, and leveraged, thus (in my mind anyway) making the CL9 kit more attractive. JKeifer Posted April 29, 2014 Share Posted April 29, 2014 Benchmarking software may be able to detect some performance differences between the two, but I don't think that you'd see any real-world performance difference even if the machine auto-detected and utilized the better timings of the CL9 kit.
