lordrocky Posted April 26, 2014 Posted April 26, 2014 After opening my PC to install a new video card, (It was unplugged for about 15 minutes) I opened up the corsair link software after rebooting to adjust the settings to account for the extra heat, and found that the fans, pump, and LED settings have all disappeared. I tried doing a clean install of the software, but with no effect. The new video card temperature and disk drive temps all show up fine. I have also tried re-seating the fan connectors at both the water block end and the socket end. Has anyone else come across this issue? Any workarounds? Thanks!
waldo15 Posted May 7, 2014 Posted May 7, 2014 Similar/Same issue here, I had to update the BIOS in my MB to support the new R9 GPUs and my Corsair Link simply lost the ability to talk to any fans on the system and to the water pump. It is still working (I can see in the BIOS that the pump is reporting correct 2400rpm in the fan speed section) and the fans are spinning. Before the BIOS update I had the H100i working without problems in Win 8.1 via the registry change mod. I have tried installing the newest link Corsair (2.5.5145) and tried previous iterations doing and undoing the registry mod to no avail. I'm seriously considering dropping Corsair Link altogether and hook up the fans directly to my MB.
Corsair Technomancer Posted May 7, 2014 Posted May 7, 2014 Has anyone else come across this issue? Any workarounds? Thanks! Which version of the link software are you using right now? You may want to try using 2.5.5145 as opposed to the 2.4 or 2.6 builds. This may sound stupid, but if you haven't already you might wanna try and change the header that it's plugged into. Sometimes it stops "liking" being plugged in to a header even though the header works fine with all other devices.
