Genesistag
Hello! So today when I started playing a game i noticed that my fps dropped very low. I started a program called HWMONITOR to check my CPU's and i saw that all 4 cores was at 90+C. I thought that it had something to do with the thermal paste. So I switched it, twice, but still the same problem. I checked the pump if it was broken. I put my hand to feel the pump, i feelt a pulsating vibration ( does it mean that it's working?) maybe it was the wind from the fans that made it vibrate. There is no wierd sound coming out from the pump/radiator. So then i started checking the hose, in the middle of the hose it was mildly and at the end of the hose it was warm (near the cpu) Should I return the product? (request RMA?) I have had it for 3 years now, and this problem as occured before, but it was fixed easily by switching thermal paste, but it doesnt seem to fix now. My specs: Intelcore I5 2500K ASUS P8Z68-V-PRO Corsair H80 Watercooler Corsair Vengeance 8gb 1600Mhz MSI Geforce GTX 780 3GB Gaming-series
Latharion
Both hoses should be warmish. If there is a noticeable difference in temps between the two hoses then there is a problem and the unit should be exchanged.
Yellowbeard
Also, if the system is under a load, the radiator should be getting warm, especially on the inlet side where the hot water flows into the rad. Make sure your pump/block is properly mounted and secure.
wytnyt
first check your bios to insure pump is running @2200 rpm,if it is id redo the tim ,,been a while since tim was applied i assume and it will degrade over time...

Genesistag
it's been 2 days now since i did a Express RMA, i still havent recieved a UPS tracking code. Btw, I have put in wrong LOT-code in the form and now when i found the right code i cant edit the ticket to put the right one. Is this the reason why i still havent recieved any shipment?
