MonarkeIV
I'm running Corsair link with a AX760i power supply on my WHS2011 server. The software status shows that I am only running one core of the I5 3570k. How can this be? The box would obviously run slow as a P1 if this were true. A bios set-up check verified that all 4 cores are running and active.
Toasted
If you are referring to the temperature given by the software. It's an average temperature of the cores. CL software uses the same WMI info that other programs pull from. For our single temp point given, it is actually the average of the individual cores. Unless you have a program that specifically does this as well you wont see an exact match. Most monitoring programs will have CPU (Socket), CPU (package), and CPU cores. CL would not match any of those. Source: http://forum.corsair.com/forums/showpost.php?p=595544&postcount=
MonarkeIV
I am referring to the options tab at the top and the devices tab on the left. I have attached images. As you can see by the violet arrows I have drawn it shows that only one cpu core is enabled. Maybe it's my motherboard manufacturer I should be asking questions to..... Very odd.
Toasted
I wouldn't worry about that. The software is still in beta and probably will be for a while. As far as i'm aware, it won't affect the software functionality.
MonarkeIV
Thanks, if it has bugs then it has bugs... The server certainly would not run as well as it now does on only one core, let alone boot up quickly.
