gotto
one quick question. I am wondering if I will get better cooling results with a custom loop setup vs a hydro series. I plan to do some serious overclocking.
wytnyt
you will always get better results with a custom loop but be prepared to sink up to 1k in one.the h100i is a great low cost alternate but is primarily a high end stock replacement closed loop... gotto
yea I figured that it would be about 1 k to do a custom loop as some water blocks alone are over 100 bucks  not to mention tubing pump res radiators ect ect. as i'm gonna be running an asus rampage exteme black edtion
wytnyt
im up to 1240 but hopefully done my 2 highest items was the gpu block and 18 fittings
gotto
my most expenses are gonna be the pump and rads. I got two asus posidens there already for water cooling. I figured the extra 100 bucks was worth it in the long run vs adding my own block and taking a chance of voiding my warranty
HOODedAssault
Go to frozen cpu and look at xspc kits. For around $400 you can get a rx360 rad with d5 pump. I'd ad another rad if running 2 gpu in the look. But around 500 you'll be good to go because u have gpu blocks already and don't need many fitting if u don't want to be too fancy about it.
