Mistklmusic Posted April 17, 2014 Share Posted April 17, 2014 Something that I've been wondering about for a while was whether or not it is possible to use the Corsair Vengeance 2100 headset with a smartphone. I figure it would not wok since the headset and the dongle probably create their own private communication network to use but its worth a shot knowing. I have an OTG-MHL USB hub and the Corsair registers as an audio device. However you lose the ability to use the software on the Android platform. Because I am trying to use my headphones on my tabled, and i am using an USB-mini-USB cable for the wirrless USB but androids keeps using the build in speakers. melboogz Posted February 9, 2015 Share Posted February 9, 2015 You can use usb-otg but it is a 50/50 chance depending on the phone manufacturer Samsung is pretty good with that I use usb otg to play guitar using my note 4 as a virtual amp through amplitude it all depends on the manufacturer from jelly bean and down in android os but in lollipop it is more friendly with usb-otg as there is low latency in anything below lollipop hope this helps Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I bought this for 85p: http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00A9Q03FW?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00 Received it today, plugged it into my Samsung S6, attached the wireless corsair usb stick to it, turned my headset on and they paired straight away with no configuration. It works perfectly, and you can still control the volume from the headset wirelessly!
