antipop2323 Posted April 16, 2014 Share Posted April 16, 2014 So I got an h80i and it's performing very poorly compared to the coolermaster hyper 212 that was previously on it. On a stock i5-2500k, it's getting about 31-33c idle, 60c load... The hyper 212 would get about 25c idle, 45c load... Also, the fans sound buzzy and loud (not to mention are incredibly loud when waking from sleep or starting the computer for a handful of seconds) I just tried each fan alone and both sound considerably better in quiet mode independently of each other, together they sound much, much worse. I'm not really seeing much of a difference from push/pull either, so was thinking maybe I'd just only use one intake push..... :( and lastly, the corsair link software flat up doesn't detect it (it is plugged into the usb header), am using windows 8.1 updated to beta software of corsair link and now it detects the h80i, so just noisy and performs terribly are my issues atm.... No clue what I'm doing wrong, everything looks right in my estimation. :confused: Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
