Rhyalus
Hello All, I installed an H100i cooler on my Asus P9X79 Pro MB / i7 3930k. Works great! But after waking from sleep, the Corsair link software does not see the device anymore. The system still seems to work fine, otherwise. I am using Windows 7 64bit Professional. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks, R
wytnyt
link cant run without power which is what sleep mode does,,the service will need restarting. also even tho link faults, the hydro will still run ,you just need to rerun link to see the fan changes, temps ect... Rhyalus
Hello, What do you mean by "service"? I start the program again after waking from sleep and it does not see the hardware. I looked under services in Windows and did not see anything from Corsair. Am I missing something? PLUS, services should start automatically again upon waking, just like every other service, no? wytnyt
no,link isnt like a kb,mouse ect where it doesnt need constant data like the link does when your computer is running ,by pulling/reinserting the power cord, does it go back to normal operation by itself?/no which is the same scenario. theres 2 files in the task monitor, when link faults it removes corsair.exe and leaves corsairhardwaremonitor.close corsairhardwaremonitor then restart corsair link and a windows restart isnt needed...
