H80i - newly bought - known isseu

Hey All,

 

 

So last week i thought well a h80i seems really nice ! so i bought it and now have the problem most of you guys are having! :( but with all the solutions and all the trouble shooting it is like looking at a giant forrest in which i am lost.

 

Any how i got windows 8.1 (udate 1) 64bits. with the following:

I7 4930 - 12 core cpu

msi x79a-gd45 plus - motherboard

32 GB Kingston hyperx at 1866 speed - memory

MSI Nvidia GeForce GTX 760 (overclocked edition) - videocard

 

So the problem is as you may have seen/heard is that at start up you have to reconnect and disconnect the usb cable from the mobo like a few times to get it to work.

 

(i now have a cable running to the back as i am tired of doing that i pull a calbe when i boot up the pc at the back)

 

I saw the 1.7 update here aswell but the link seems to fail in updating the bootloader so i am stuck at:

hydro 2.0.0

h80i 1.0.5 (with 2 stock fans)

and the 2.4.5.1.10 link

 

does any one have a work around for the fiormware update / this known problem of not showing up after start ? i saw the log on and log off scripts, but thay dont really seem to work / are the same as pulling the usb cable

 

but i would like to get rid of that solution
