bmt14
I've had, and for the most part loved my M90 for about a year and a half now but several months ago I suddenly found that I could no longer update the hardware playback functions. I went through the basics of reinstalling and reflashing everything to no avail and eventually became content to just use the software method. This was less than ideal however as I also used the mouse in it's hardware mode in my Linux install on the same computer and could no longer do so(since I reflashed it it erased the existing working macros). But now I've been faced with a few games lately that will not accept commands from the corsair software and have set out to fix it. I found out that I could program and use the hardware mode on another windows computer, and that it would still work perfectly in my Linux partition...and after a lot of work on my gaming computer I was able to get it to upload to the hardware...the problem now is that this windows install will simply not read any input while the mouse is in hardware mode, every other device will which means this has to be a problem with the driver. I've gone through the process of uninstalling the drivers and reinstalling them multiple times to no avail. I'm honestly stumped now, is there a download for just the driver alone(not the software) to try or does anyone have any other possible solution? I really do no want to do a clean windows install again.
Toasted
So the issue here is whenever you press a button assigned to a keystroke/macro they are not registered in Windows? -Make sure the profile is assigned to the correct L.E.D. and that it is lit. Can you try buttons 7 (Forward) and 8 (Back) in a webs browser as well? If they work and a different macro is assigned to them, it would be a sign the profile was not saved properly or the profile selected is not the right one. bmt14
No it was on the right profiles, as I said the mouse worked perfectly fine on another windows computer and the linux boot of that same one. Windows would simply not recognize any of the inputs beyond the basic mouse function. I actually just did a clean install of windows and of course it works in it, never did figure out what the problem was.
