airtongomeslima
Hello everybody . I have a kit of 2x4GB Corsair vengeance model CM28GX3MZA1600C9 ( http://www.corsair.com/pt-br/vengeance-8gb-dual-channel-ddr3-memory-kit-cmz8gx3m2a1600c9 ) and want to expand to 16GB, so I bought two memories Corsair vengeance model CMZ4GX3M1A1600C9 4GB (http://www.corsair.com/pt-br/vengeance-4gb-single-module-ddr3-memory-kit-cmz4gx3m1a1600c9), but the computer only recognizes 8GB, I'm thinking that memories are incompatible so I called the store where I bought and I will change on Monday, but I wonder if that's right and what to check before buying a new memory to avoid incompatibility. PS My Motherboard is an ASUS P8Z77 - V PRO ( http://www.asus.com/br/Motherboards/P8Z77V_PRO/HelpDesk_QVL/ ) accepts up to 32GB through the manual and from what I saw the difference between memories is latency. I've done the following : > I updated the firmware on the motherboard . > Updated the bios. > Memories tested separately and mixing them both new and the old all functioned in any slots. And work if I mix an old with a new one. But only recognizes 8GB. > I reset the bios . > I ran memtest, here are the results: http://1drv.ms/1gnCFBz http://1drv.ms/1gnCJBh http://1drv.ms/1gnCR3z > On this folter is some prints from my BIOS configs http://1drv.ms/1ew8UzS Sorry for my english and thanks already. Thank you.
