MelissaGT
Good evening, I've done quite a bit of searching through threads on the H60 and pump speeds and I just want to make sure of one thing that I haven't been able to find an answer for. I've learned that the H60 pump should constantly be running at 100% (12v), however I'm not sure how to tell if mine is doing that. In HWINFO, the pump shows at running anywhere from 4440 - 4560 rpm (which I've learned my MB sensor doubles the actual value). Is this slight variance normal and indicative of one running at full speed all the time? The pump is completely silent. To be honest, I have no idea how the H60 is hooked up as this system was custom built for me. I'm kind of learning as I go. In the BIOS, the H60 pump is showing as "CPU Fan" and the H60 fan (hooked up as the case rear exhaust) is showing as "System Fan 1." I do know that the pump appears to always be running between the 4440 - 4560 and the actual fan varies based on temp. At idle it runs at around 900 rpm. My idle CPU temp sits at around 28 - 32 degrees according to HWINFO, however the BIOS shows it at about 10 degrees cooler. I don't use any custom fan tools other than Afterburner for my GPU as my temps haven't warranted any alterations. However, if I open up EasyTune 6 that came with the computer, I can alter the speed of the H60 fan; I just don't need to. Any info would be greatly appreciated! MelissaGT
Any info? Should I contact Corsair for a direct answer? I just want to make sure my system is set up properly. Everything appears to be running just fine. Again, thank you!
wytnyt
you can change fan speed if desired but the pump speed is a set speed and your pump speed is just fine so...... Play ON!;):
