Demandred
Hi all, I hope someone can help, I have owned a Corsair H100i for just over a month now, and about a week ago, I powered up my machine to find the H100i pump not working, the Led on the pump was cycling between light blue and red and the RPM was at 0. When I took the pump off the CPU and tried again(it was hanging Horizontally being unmounted) it worked again... So I have been using it since, however last night it did the same thing, the Corsair Link software did not shutdown my PC as per teh rule I created either luckily I heard the fans spool up and shutdown the PC, the CPU was sitting on 90 Degrees however... I have repackaged the cooler however I'm concerned that this is an Intermittent problem, and that my supplier is going to give me crap when I try and RMA it, as they may not be able to duplicate the problem... Needless to say, I don't really care if it works again, my trust in this particular unit has pretty much been broken Thank you! EDIT: I was also running the latest Firmware
Latharion
Normally, Corsair doesn't question RMAs regarding H series coolers due to the liquid inside having the potential to damage components if leakage occured. As a result, of this caution, there is very little to be concerned with. Go ahead and RMA the cooler, as it's better to do that than chance your expensive system to a malfunctioning cooler. Demandred
Ok I sent the unit back to the supplier, they say they are currently testing the unit, hopefully it doesn't start working again, I'm not putting that thing anywhere near my CPU again. Does anyone know the significance of the LED cycling between Red and Cyan? Is this an error code for pump failure? the reason I ask is I managed to get the LED on video before shutting down the system
Demandred
Ok I heard back from the supplier, they say that after testing they found no problems. I don't really know how to proceed now, Corsair has not responded to my ticket to them with regards to this. Either I've wasted money completely, because Im not going to be using this thing on my system unless it is replaced, or I use it, and destroy my CPU. A response from corsair would be greatly appreciated on this.
trinitom
my advise is: go for air or another brand AIO cooler.

Dstang65
Had the exact same thing occur. Booted up and got a flashing rainbow of color. CPU Fan Error! message, and then dead. RMA, tore it down, sent defective item back. Thanks Corsair for service but I am now on my 3rd H100!:[pouts:
