cubski
I just purchased this SSD today, did a clean Win 8.1 install (w/ AHCI enabled) and after I configured my machine I ran some benchmarks. The results can be seen here http://1drv.ms/1knH9vN. I've tested it before (v5.20) and after updating the firmware (v5.24). There's really not much of a difference (not that I was expecting any gains). My concern is the write speed which is (I think) slow. I'm not sure if I'm doing anything wrong or is it just the drive not living up to its advertised specs. Appreciate any feedbacks.
Toasted
Corsair uses ATTO benchmark results for their advertised speeds. It's best to use that to see if the SSD is running normal.
cubski
Thanks for the reply Toasted. Tried it the ATTO benchmark and here is what I got: http://1drv.ms/1kq5sJD http://1drv.ms/1kq5np5 Not quite 500MB/s but the values are better (I think). Toasted
According to the screenshots, the drive is normal. Results will vary due to background applications running and different types of chipsets.
