RedDwarf
I purchased a HX520 for my previous PC build and the PC build never functioned well. I sent the first motherboard back due to instability and the replacement was not really any better. It crashed at random times, BSOD on some resume from standbys and seemed to have so many issues overall that I was never happy with it. I decided to rebuild my PC last year and although it is generally stable, resuming from standby does not work 100%. Every maybe 4 resumes, applications crash but otherwise the PC does work okay. I have been suspecting the PSU because it seems unusual that two PC's would have similar problems with only the PSU, hard drives and graphics card in common. The current hdd for my OS is fairly new and I believe that it is okay plus it was not in use on my previous PC build. What aspect of a PSU might cause problems on resuming from standby? It's like power is not stable or sufficient when resuming from standby. Could it be where all my PC problems originate?
