drunkmunky
When I first got the raptor a couple of weeks ago, it plugged into the usb and worked fine. It started dying a couple of days ago and now I can't get any audio. My computer won't recognize it as a usb device and i can't install the new driver... I'm getting really frustrated. I wanted to just come home and relax and watch basketball and now I find myself trouble shooting for the past 45 minutes... I tried using Microsoft 'fix-it' and nothing happened. I tried uninstalling the 'unknown device' driver in the 'device manager', restarting, and it still doesn't work. I tried uninstalling the 'unknown device' driver in the 'device manager', turned off the power as in removing the plug, and restarting, and it still doesn't work. I'm running windows 7. motherboard is an asus p5k using microsoft's high definition audio device controller

Toasted
Have you tried updating your chipset drivers? Latest BIOS?
drunkmunky
my computer is on the latest bios considering how the headphones were running prior to the failure, this should not be a problem. in addition, the fact that the headphones cannot be recognized by 2 other computers tells me that this is a hardware failure. How do I file a technical ticket? I want a new headset.... I still have all of the original packaging... this is bullsh*t
