H100i LED flashing

Hi all,

For the last week or so the corsair logo on the pump block of my H100i has being flashing and randomly changing colours. It has always bin solid white.

I don't have the LINK installed, nor do I wish to install it.

The unit is about 9mths old, other than that it performs very well.

What gives?

Cheers

It might also be a power connection problem (check for a tight SATA power connector).

It could also be that the current profile that is loaded on the hardware may be corrupt.

The Link software could be temporarily installed, and the profile checked. Afterward, the Link software could then be uninstalled, as the hardware retains the last profile set through the Link software.

Thanks for the reply, dust shouldn't be an issues as I use filtered intakes and clean them regularly and the rad looks good as well. I always use "realtemp" when gaming and temps are no different, around 60-65degC @4.4ghz with ambient around 30-35. I'll check the pwr connectors and report back. Might have to install LINK to see what's going on there.

Cheers

checked the connections, no problems there. Installed the LINK software and current FW is 1.0.5. I can change the LED colours with the slider but cant get white, It flickers between white and pink???, is the LED burnt out??

I cant download the FWare 1.0.5 or 1.0.7. for some reason, when I try to download it from ths sticky above nothing happens. it downloads as a .php file. wt?
