CorsairLINK with Commander - H100i v1.0.7 not Detected on Link

Hi.

on older versions of Corsair LINK and ofcourse on Win7, all of the stuff works OK.

ever since the upgrade (fresh install) of Windows 8.1 Pro 64bit alot of stuff on the corsair link just going wrong.

Anyway, the issue is i have a first generation of H100i Liquid CPU Cooler which is now (and has been ever since) @ version 1.0.7 Firmware (was previously 1.0.5, but due to problems back then with grinding noise, compatibility) it was updated to 107. Well Corsair LINK Software cant see the H100i when connected through the LINK Cable to the Commander.

Previously I was at Corsair Link Software Update Release Candidate Version 2.4.5110

with this version, the LINK was able to detect something... it can see what channel but it cannot tell what it is (eg. Cooling Node, Lighting Node) but it can see the 2 Nodes.

When I unplug the link cable and connect the H100i with the attached USB Dongle, Corsair LINK will see it properly and ofcourse give it as USB, with the correct version, etc and will work fine.

so I thought lets upgrade the corsair link software to the beta. (uninstall, deleted folders and profiles).

Now we're on Corsair Link Software Update BETA Version 2.5.5145

which btw looks nice :) and more hardware support.

anyway now its installed, LINK software sees the H100i on USB Dongle.

removed the USB, attached the LINK Cable (currently on channel 4) and NOPE! DENIED, nothing on detected, even at reboot, power Off/On the H100i, etc. it doesnt even see if theres anything on channel 4, I even tried swapping the cable or different channel as always Light/Cooling nodes are being detected fine.

I know there have been issues with detection etc, but geeezz this is just meh...

I thought I could reflash the firmware, but ofcourse I forgot the new Corsair LINK Software has embed firmware on it etc, so I cant really reflash the H100i (with the USB) as it already sees it as 1.0.7 :(

anyone have an idea on what else i can try?
