arthurgallindo
Hi, I just did send a Corsair PSU for RMA but i didnt have the original box. Its ok? Another question. Here in Brazil, there are some issues when the new product arrive. One is the absence of the -translating- "natural person registry" (CPF) on invoice. This is not asked when we access corsair.secure.force. And the fact that Corsair put 1$ for the value of the product, but here not always create a problem. Is normal Corsair send back with the information like this? Or is more a subject to talk with UPS? thanks
SpinalGT
Have a problem with my Vengeance 2000 and also living in Brazil currently. I've opened a ticket last week and no response so far, did you get any response arthurgallindo?
arthurgallindo
Acording to USPS my psu was delivered to Corsair today, so from now on I will expect a response. You opended a ticket, but did your receive a email confirming the process of RMA? With a link to a label which you will use in your package? (I opended my ticket last week too, and the confirmation came minutes after) They need receive the product first to process the replacement. But I have read that the update of RMA process delay sometimes.
SpinalGT
They responded me yesterday asking for my invoice which I attached to the ticket. But I am worried because of the tax policies in Brazil, which you may know are really expensive, do they send it as a RMA unit sparing it from taxes? Did they tell you anything about this? arthurgallindo
They will send the product as a return item, so will not be taxed. Like I read on foruns is very rare occur problems with taxes. Should not exist any cost for you to receive the replacement product from Corsair, only when you send the faulty one to them. There are cases of delay about the first topic I wrote. I didnt received response for Corsair till now..
arthurgallindo
SpinalGT, I think i didnt give right informations about the taxes. Reading more about I found that Corsair opt for the UPS services by the reason that is fast, but assuming that will pay the importing taxes for you, rather than the standard way provided by law thats allow a product bought here go out for repair and come back withou taxing.. seens that is not so appropriate to what Corsair want for its services. So, for default, UPS deliver the product with taxes payed, but some cases the product is taxed on more time futher the payment by Corsair. This happened to me, UPS called me informing that I must pay 150 reais for the taxes. The advice I found about this (Adrenaline Forum) was contact the brazilian corsair support, send the payment receipt, and wait for reimbursement.
