PhilIm
Hello Community, yesterday I installed new Win7 on my 3.5year old f120gb2. I left the computer accidently in standby. Next day the battery was empty. Thereafter the computer does not recognize any hard disc. Is there any chance to fix my problem? I tried to switch on/off power of my harddrive, tried all power management option in bios, took out the ssd and waited for 1h. What can I do??? Please help me, its a big problem right now, as I am writing my diploma thesis. Data is not important. Everything is safe. Thank you very much! Toasted
Have you tried plugging the drive into another computer?
PhilIm
Thanks for reply. Actually no different computer, but different bay (for 2nd hdd). And I used different HDD on same computer, that worked. So I guess its not the computer. Right?
Toasted
I would personally try the SSD on another computer or USB Hub, just to make sure. The SSD is an old model so you never know if it might pop-up unexpectedly.
PhilIm
Hi, alright I organized another computer and tried. It didn't work. What now? I mean the HDD is 3,5years old, no warranty. But it appears to me like I have the same issues as F120GB3 had.
Toasted
Unfortunately, there isn't much you can do if the SSD is not detected in the BIOS.
PhilIm
Hm so I can digg a hole in my garden? Or will Corsair replace it? I mean it looks like my problem is connected with a problem that led to a replacement program for F120GB3s.
Toasted
I don't think the Force 3 SSD issue is related to the SATA II ones.
PhilIm
I was asked to send them a receipt/invoice of my ssd. I did so imidiately but now there is no reaction for one week. Is that normal?? What can I do to proceed with my request?

PhilIm
Thank you for your help and support. Unfortunately Corsair is refusing to help me.
Toasted
It's probably because the SSD's warranty is expired. (three years from purchase date).
