PCunicorn
I got 1500s a couple days ago, and I've noticed a strange buzzing noise. This only happens when the mic is being used. I noticed this in Saints Row 3, where voice chat is enabled by default. I turned it off, and the buzzing noise stopped. Does this mean I should exchange them (not a problem at all, got them from Best Buy), or is it something different?
Toasted
Record your voice here. http://vocaroo.com/ Is it clear or does it have static/buzzing sounds?
PCunicorn
My microphone works fine, no buzzing. It's the speakers making the sound, when the mic is being used.
Toasted
Ask your seller for a replacement and see if that helps.
Zillio
I was getting this issue with the new drivers installed. They add Line In and Microphone to the speakers properties options. You need to mute these to stop the hissing. For windows 7 users you can get to these options by: 1. Right click on the speaker icon in the taskbar and select playback devices. 2. Select the Corsair headphones in the Playback menu and click properties. 3. Select the Levels tab and mute the Line and Microphone options. Note this does not stop your mic, working just stops it playing back through your headphones.
