Asyrin
So I'm considering using a pair of H100i in my air 540. One attached to the (i5-2500k) CPU par norm and the other attached to my (780 ti) GPU using the NZXT adapter that allows you to use a CPU cooler on a GPU. (Lots of testing on this on the net. Seems to work far better than even the better air GPU cooler designs) My question has to do with fan configuration. I'd basically run the CPU Rad to the top of my Air 540 and the GPU Rad to the front. The Top Rad would be exhaust (along with the rear fan) while the front GPU Rad would be intake. The ambient Tempurature in the case in this setup will obviously be higher than an air design or just using the CPU Rad but the overall Temps on the watercooled GPU and CPU should be lower. Will there not be enough ambient for the (Maximus V Gene) board and (Gskill) memory? Thanks for your input!
HOODedAssault
It will be fine, but h100i will not work with the Nzxt bracket. H110/105/90/75 will. Has to be an asetek made cooler. I'd go 2 h110 would look pretty good.
