As the topic stats side buttons are not working in games, even after making a led profile making sure hardware was on, tried flashing but that doesnt work, so far not impressed with the issues of this mouse esp after switching from a logitech g600 to this one.

It works in WOW however it does not work in ESO, tera, aion bf4.

Can you provide examples of which games are not working with it? I'm interested in checking it out.

What kind of functionality do you expect? I think most games don't work with extra mouse buttons out of the box, mostly you have to work with mouse software to set up macro and that kind of stuff.

League of Legends worked for me. My set up was like this:

mouse button 14 = q

mouse button 7 = w

mouse button 8 = e

mouse button 15 = r

Everything worked, no problem detected.

Which i have, however since i play mostly mmos i use q e and the other keys for other keybinds and then use my mouse for 1-9, even keybinding them into the corsair software does not work, macroing them does not work either. So in short this mouse is useless for my gameplay unless there is another fix that i am unaware of.

I mean it cannot be to much to ask to be able to program the number 1-9 onto a mouse and have it work can it?

And are you sure you figured the software out? The fact that you have to select mouse button after you pressed MR was kinda counter intuitive for me. And I forgot to end macro recording (2nd MR press) quite a few times as well.

I think button options - basic - keystroke works best for the most part.

Yea that did throw me for a loop till I figured it out. However I do not know is it is an issue worth 8.1 or corsair software. The buttons work if I open up a Web link or a document and push them. All the numbers show up 1-9 but the minute I log into a game it like it forgets them

If the buttons worked in a document it sounds like the profiles were not saved to the on-board memory if they do not work in-game.

To save a profile to the M95, you need to;

1. Manage Profiles> Click the L.E.D.s

2. Choose one L.E.D. and assign a profile to it. (1- Bottom L.E.D. - 6 - Top L.E.D.)

3. After assigning, click the save to M95 button, do you see a percentage after?

If yes, continue on.

If no, Check and make sure M95hid.exe is running in Task Manager.

4. Click Ok and enable hardware playback, then by using your profile up/down buttons, change it until the L.E.D. that was assigned the profile is lit.

For example;

L.E.D. 1/Profile 1 means the bottom L.E.D. is only lit.

L.E.D. 3/Profile 3 means the first, second and third L.E.D. is lit.

L.E.D. 6/Profile 6 means all the L.E.D.s are lit.

Test the buttons in-game and see if they work properly.

My point is I SHOULD NOT have to jump through hoops to get a mouse to work in games, this is something that should work right of of the box after downloading and installing there software and programming it up as a keybind.

Also toasted thank you, i ran through that setup to and still nothing, i saw that it was saved and HW is selected made sure i had the right profile l.e.d selected but the buttons do only work in documents and not in game, not sure if there is something wrong with my mouse or what.

Even if i go into a game go to keybinds and try to remap them that way to my mouse, the mouse clicks do not even register.

At this point i am back to running my old g600 as it works, and i am sad, i own tons of corsair products and have never had an issue with any of there products
