Toasted
Do you have the latest drivers installed for your devices? Latest BIOS? Have you tried a different USB port?
shmex
Do you have the latest drivers installed for your devices? Latest BIOS? Have you tried a different USB port? Yes i have all the drivers installed and the latest BIOS too. About the USB its not relevant because you have to install the drivers without the headset connected, so the OS freezes without the headset. What can i do? Toasted
Have you tried turning off SmartScreen and temporarily disabling anti-virus protection? Have you tried installing it in another Windows admin account?

Toasted
Was the buzzing noise ever there before you installed the Corsair drivers? Mute your microphone, does it do anything?

Toasted
Close every program that is playing a sound. E.g. a media player, browser, etc. Does the buzzing noise stop?
shmex
Close every program that is playing a sound. E.g. a media player, browser, etc. Does the buzzing noise stop? Not really ... When i start the computer, it looks okay, no buzzing. But a few minutes after the buzzing starts and its very annoying. Also, in game the sound is not good, the voices are very low and the general quality it horrible with much "scratches" on the sound. Not really impressed so far :( I suppose that i must come back to the windows 7 to have the best of this headset.
Toasted
Its probably the drivers causing the issue. Try the V1500 v1.1 drivers and see if they are better, not sure if they support Windows 8.1 though.
ariakias
I just got my pair of vengeance 1500 and had the same problem. I had the same problem when i was installing the software for my logitech mouse aswell. I had to turn the computer off and unplug the CD/DVD drive and they install them and they didn't freeze.
