Romberg
I bought H100i few days ago and i am having a problem with the pump. Occasionaly, when i shut down the computer (not restart) and power it back on Corsair Link says that my pump is running on 800-1000RPM. The temperatures are in that case very high. I found a workaround, i just open the side of my case, disconnect SATA power cable (while the computer is running) and after 2-3 seconds plug it back in. Sometimes the pump starts immediately to spin on 2200 RPM and sometimes i need to repeat the procedure 2-3 times in order to get it running. Is there any fix for this? I tried to set fan profile in BIOS, i turned off CPU Q-Fan control but it was the same. I turned the Q-Fan control and set the profile so that the pump begins to spin on maximum on 20 degrees C but the problem persists.
Max10
Hi Romberg, Have you tried another sata connector? Pump rpm is fixed, should be around 2200, you cannot set this in a profile! only the fans.
Romberg
Yes, i tried different SATA connector on the same cable and one on the different cable but there is no difference. I also bought new PSU thinking mine was inadequate but nothing has changed
Max10
Well if the sata connections are ok, don't know if any air in the pump can produce this fault but because you have bought it a few days ago I would say return it to the shop.
