agtek
Hello! I have a dead 650TX and need to send it back to Corsair so I opened an RMA ticket. But I needed to put the part number of my PSU, here is the problem: I live in Switzerland and bought my PC here with the 650TX PSU in it (and so my deepest apologies for my english). The model number written on my PSU is "CMPSU-650TX" which refers apparently to the US version (according to Corsair RMA process). But I am in Switzerland, with a swiss power cord and it worked fine for 3 years, in my opinion it can't really be the US version. So I filled the RMA with the number CMPSU-650TXSW which refers to the swiss version... Was it wrong? Should I have chosen the US version number? The cost to send it back to Netherlands is approx half the price of a new PSU so I don't want to lose if they refuse to send me a new PSU because the part number on the RMA ticket is not the same as the part number on the PSU. What am I supposed to do?
Administrators Technobeard Posted March 4, 2014 Administrators Share Posted March 4, 2014 CMPSU-650TXEU would be the EU version.
agtek
CMPSU-650TXEU would be the EU version. I know that and the CMPSU-650TXSW is the swiss version (but it's probably just a different power cord between EU and SW) .. But on my PSU it's CMPSU-650TX even if it doesn't come from the USA...
