Default hs70 audio issue with PUBG
i just purchased the hs70s and love them. other than that, the volume seems to cut in out a bit during gameplay. The Volume just lowers itself then increases again. any tips on fixing this issue....? this is my first corsair product. I have the cue installed as well. thanks!

- Where did you connect the dongle?
- How often does the audio get cut out?
- Does it behave similarly in any other application?

the dongle is connected to the front of my pc and it cuts out about every 5 to 6 seconds.

I only really play PUBG and havent noticed it in any other game.

I guess its something with pubg and the ICUE software. Im not sure whats going on ... ive tried older versions of firmware with the headset itself and with the software and nothing changes.

make sure this is set correctly in your windows sound settings

yeah that didnt work, i think there is some kind of communication issue between the headset and ICUE when playing PUBG

i only notice it while playing pubg. I guess i will have to wait until more people start using the hs70s w/icue.

I play Rainbow Six Siege and experience similar issues to this on the HS70. Mine sound will cut out for a split second and I will experience randomly crackling or popping. This was not present on my previous headset, but it also was not wireless. I also notice that this happens for a few seconds when I go to another screen (multi monitor setup) with the game open, as well.

Did you guys disable fast startup for Windows? That seems to be causing a lot of people some problems in various areas, cracking popping included. I would try that out first, then reboot your PC.

Didnt work... Like i said. It only does this when playing pubg. I dont know what to do. I think its a driver issue and it isnt working correctly with the game.

i had some other brand of wireless headsets and it didnt do this with those. I guess i will go back to those until this is addressed. I have tried the hs70s on multiple pc's while playing pubg and i get the same results every time.

I also have the PUBG Sound problems. Sound is randomly going louder or quieter. When u play PUBG and jump out of the plain, sound is silent. After some seconds sound is going volume up. With other Headsets i don´t have this problem (Sennheiser GameOne, NOT wireless).
In Heroes of the Storm i got no Problem with the HS70, sound behavior there is normal.

Thank you! Finally someone else who plays pubg with the hs70. Now i feel like im not crazy.

i have the same problem. It only happens in Pubg for me.
