Default Dark Core Mouse charging status
Hello.

I have a new Dark Core wireless mouse. I've updated the mouse firmware as well as iCue. I've had the mouse plugged into the PC via the cable for almost 20 hours and the status in ICue is still showing as "Charging". Is this normal? How long does it take to fully charge the mouse?

It says "charging" as long as it's plugged in. You won't get a battery level until you disconnect and go wireless.

Does the mouse need to be plugged in to show up in iCUE? At the moment, I'm wireless and it is not showing.

If in BT mode, it will never show and you are effectively in hardware profile mode. That is the limit of the OS/BT mechanics and this is better for HTPC or TV set-ups where you don't really care about it anyway. In 2.4 GHz mode, it should always show and be full capable of all actions, just like when wired.

Something is off somewhere then because the mouse doesn't show when in regular wireless mode. I have to plug it in to get it to be visible.
