Treman
Firmware updates don't download, and 'crash' whatever it is you're trying to update, which removes them from CUE until you restart CUE. Have tried everything I could think of and everything suggested in multiple threads... Is there an alternate download location for Firmware? (Not software)
Toasted
What hardware do you have? You can alternatively contact Corsair and they should be able to provide a link to the firmware. https://corsair.secure.force.com/

You can alternatively contact Corsair and they should be able to provide a link to the firmware. https://corsair.secure.force.com/ I have a K95 RGB Platinum, Scimitar RGB Pro and a Void Wireless RGB Have already contacted them... Just got the firmware for the K95 off of a helpful fellow... Will now ask for the Scimitar firmware. Still doesn't answer the question of why CUE isn't working properly And thanks for the response
Toasted
Scimitar firmware; http://www3.corsair.com/software/HID/Scimitar.zip Please fillout your system specs. http://forum.corsair.com/v3/profile.php?do=extra It could possibly be security software e.g. firewall preventing the CUE from downloading the firmware? Thank you very much :) I did check that... All was fine, and I made exceptions regardless, which changed nothing.
lxtwin
I have the same problems with a Strafe RGB, M65 Pro RGB and MM800. I try CUE, it has problems; I then go back to CUE 1.16.42. This is really poor software.
epicwood
I have the same issue with Scimitar Pro RGB, and the Polaris RGB mousepad.
Toasted
What version of CUE are you using? Have you tried adding CUE to your exclusions list for Firewall or security software? Did anything change?
snapper69
I updated to the latest version of CUE, which reported both my M65 Pro RGB and MM800 and indicated that there was a Firmware Update for both. The MM800 one worked perfectly, but the M65 Pro RGB one failed and removed it from CUE until I restarted it. Seems a bit odd that one works and not the other. epicwood
my fix was to turn off windows firewall all together. I initially tried to set rules and exceptions in windows firewall and it failed. I turned off Windows Firewall all together and the updates downloaded and install correctly. Hope this helps.
