GP1261 Posted June 4, 2020 Share Posted June 4, 2020 I'm trying to figure out which memory I'd be better off with. I've got the Gigabyte AORUS x570 Master motherboard with a 3900x cpu. I'm going to go with 32gb, 16gb x 2. I think I've narrowed down my choices and I'm trying to decide between the Vengeance LPX 3200 c16 or the 3600 c18. Newman17 Posted June 10, 2020 Share Posted June 10, 2020 CAS latency is also pretty important, I've seen suggested that 3200 MHz with lower CAS will outperform 3600MHz RAM with worse latency. Not my personal experience though so take it with a pinch of salt. Overall though, I kind of doubt you'd see much difference between the two in most tasks. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
