Firmware 5.05a was just released and if we have a newer version that has been qualified we will release it. There are some issue on the server side but should be resolved soon.

What is improved in newest firmware 5.05a?Should we update our drives anyway aka it is safe for drive?No problems with this update?

If companies are able to release FW versions within days of its release from SandForce, means they are not doing there own validations to verify the FW is solid and safe to release. I would rather wait for Corsair to run all its tests and validate it before releasing to make sure there are no possible issues with it, than trust a company who does not fully validate it themselves. This is one reason why I stick with Corsair! Plus if there are no current issues with the FW your using why even update it? =)

You are 110% Correct if its not broke dont fix it.
The New SSD Tool Box was just release and will be able to update most current Drives Firmware.

Wow, that overprovisioning and optimize feature are pretty nice. Certainly some kind of good work, well done ;)
