Bananagab Posted July 27, 2014 Share Posted July 27, 2014 Hello, I just built my first gaming PC and I was wondering what are the safe temps for the i7 4790k. I did not overclock it and I use the H110 to cool it. The ambient temperature presently is about 26°C. In idle, the CPU is at 34°C. While gaming, it is about 43 to 50°C sometimes. + It takes 5 minutes to the CPU to return to 34°C after gaming. These temperatures could be completely safe but I just want to be sure.
