How do you determine if mouse issues are due to firmware or cue software?

Since the firmware often updates along with CUE, it's hard isolate which is causing an issue.

Are there log files or something I can use to determine what is causing my issues?

Or do I just downgrade both at the same time?

speaking of which I wanted to get the exact versions of CUE and the Firmware but the taskbar icon menu doesn't work... : (

I click 'about' and nothing happens, same for right, left, double clicks, and hover.... i guess it finally opens after a long delay.

However it only lists the CUE version:

2.4.66

It should also list the firmware version:

firmware 2.03

but you have to seperately open CUE and drill down to get that.
