NuttyComputer
Hi, Just installed a Noctua NH-D15 Air Cooler, it has 2 x 140mm fans, the middle ones is fine, but I've had to remove the front one as my Corsair Vengeance RGB PRO 32GB RGB Lights are too high to allow the 140mm to be installed in front of the Air Cooler. Is it possible to remove the RGB Lights off the Memoryboards ?? Thanks for any help..
Corsair Employee Corsair CJ Posted October 2, 2020 Corsair Employee Share Posted October 2, 2020 Removing the lightbars would require removing the heatspreaders on the modules using a heatgun. We do not recommend disassembling your memory modules in this way as that would definitely void the warranty. Only suggestion I can make would be to find an alternate kit of memory like VENGEANCE LPX or see if your cooler has the ability to adjust the placement of the fan to clear tall memory modules.
