betox99
Hello I have a RM750x with RTX 3080 msi trio which needs 3 connector pins. The PSU comes with 2 PCIE (6+2) so my question is if i can connect a 3rd PCIE (6+2) cable like in this picture and it could work? There are 4 x 8 pin slots, can i connect the PCIE 6+2 cables into any of of them, or somewhere in particular?
Corsair Employee jonnyguru Posted December 1, 2020 Corsair Employee Share Posted December 1, 2020 All of the 6-pin connectors on the PSU are the same. All of the 8-pin connectors on the PSU are the same. Those two 8-pin connectors are split off from the other two due to components on the PCB in between them. They are not different connectors for different purposes.

acemaninwa871
I personally think you're on the edge with a 750w ps and a 3080.
