menboong
Hoping to see if anyone here knows if the usb disconnect issue https://forum.corsair.com/v3/showthread.php?t=182412 is fixed with the newly announced xt coolers
DevBiker
I've not seen any USB disconnects with either of my Platinum coolers for some time now.
menboong
Unfortunately I still do have the issue albeit it's only in the inital start up of icue and the occasional random flicker of lights but this issue is rare
eckertt001
I should be getting the H115i RGB PRO XT from Amazon tomorrow. I am constantly getting the disconnection problem, and it is affecting my main game. It's the only other 280mm model that will fit in my case, with my build. DevBiker
If you are running any other monitoring tools that also read the values from the cooler, that will give you disconnects as well. HWInfo is the most common source for this.
eckertt001
Not running anything but iCue. The only solution from support is an RMA, which I will do after I get the new cooler.
Baio
Unfortunately Corsair announced those new AIOs will not be avaliable till february (in USA). Every reseller I've searched for has them in preorder, so I think no one can answer to the OP doubt at the moment. Baio
eckertt001
Received from Amazon, and installed the H115i XT 280mm about 6 hours ago. So far, not a single disconnect. Hopefully this continues.

It was your first AIO or you came from another Corsair's 280mm? I'm asking to know if there's some performace improvement from the "old" products. eckertt001
This is coming from the H115i RGB PLATINUM 280mm. I do have a good decrease in temps, but I cannot definitively say that this unit is significantly better. On a 9900k: H115i RGB PLATINUM 280mm max temps playing FFXIV for 3 hours was 74. H115i RGB PRO XT 280mm max temps playing FFXIV for 3 hours is 66. I am also running all fans in my pc at a lower speed, because the sound is annoying. Thanks, the new line seems to carry a consistent boost in performance. 8 degrees is something remarkable. Baio
