InvisoBill
Hi y'all, Yesterday there was a power surge, and my gaming rig was not connected to a surge protecting power strip (big mistake that has now been rectified:sigh!:). The computer promptly shut off, and would not turn back on, so I brought it down to best buy and had them run a diagnostics on it. As far as we could tell the power supply (which is a Corsair TX 650W), is fried, but that was the extent of the damage to the computer. Now I was wondering if Power surges are covered in the warranty of the device. The power surge does not fall under acts of nature as far as I know (yesterday was a crystal clear sunny day) and I most certainly wasn't misusing the part (unless not having a surge protecting power strip is considered misuse). Thanks in advance.
