max robinson
I had bought a Corsair H1500 at the beginning of the year from Currys/PC World and they had worked really well until around 3 months ago when I started getting a high pitched noise. I read online that it is a popular problem but I found a fix, temporarily, by going into sound levels and changing them. I still have this set otherwise the noise is even louder. Also I'm not the only one who can hear it as when I'm on Skype or using my mic on games people can hear it on the other end of their end coming from me. Also with everything that makes a sound. For example when a notification comes up on windows, it does the "bing" noise and then followed by the high pitched buzzing noise. I have used multiple USB ports, both internally built into PC and 3rd party external ones, and I tried the headset on my old laptop and other PC and still get the same problem. Toasted
Could possibly be a faulty microphone. You can contact technical support and see whether they can provide any suggestions to try. https://corsair.secure.force.com/
