Macros interrupted by profile switching?

Hey guys,

I have a macro repeated while held down, and another macro switching profiles while held down. Both of the profiles have the same repeating macro I mentioned.

My objective: being able to switch profiles while holding down the repeating macro without interrupting it.

My issue: As soon I as switch profiles, my macro key hold is automatically released and the macro is interrupted.

In case you might know of an alternative, here's what I'm trying to do exactly:

Spacebar macro = spam spacebar while held down.

Left Alt = remap 5 keys while held down (which I'm currently doing by switching to a different profile). Basically a modifier key, but my game doesn't feature modifier-key keybinds, so I'm doing this instead :sigh!:

So, is it possible to have a macro remap keys without switching profiles? Or have a key held down uninterrupted by profile switching?
