Please tell me you're going to do a similar replacement part for the 900D. I really like the case and I don't want to throw it out in a couple months time when I upgrade the internals just for the lack of USB 3.1 on the front.

edit: Side note, the find a retailer links on the Corsair site all seem to come up blank.

eg: https://www.corsair.com/ww/en/Catego...O/p/CC-8930107 shows the popup but doesn't list any retailers.

If it's not available, maybe the site should say "Not available" or something similar.

These apparently came back into stock at Corsair... I attempted to order and was greeted with a $10 charge on a $20 part. That is absolutely appalling and a complete rip-off. Even worse I contacted their customer service to see if they could help in any way (I even offered to email them a UPS label and pay for it myself as I would pay a fraction of that cost) - customer service would not help in any way. Poor customer service Corsair, I am extremely disappointed with you!!

When will we get this update also for the white 570x case? The motherboard supports the connector, but the case is not.

So still no love for other cases?

Hey Corsair, if you're reading this maybe it'd be a good idea to make your front I/O panels uniform based on two or three standard sizes. That way you could sell replacement parts to customers for a whole bunch of different cases instead of just one or two that happen to be popular.

It's super frustrating having bought a high end case and being left with no support for USB3.1 and future changes. Makes me feel like I might as well buy a cheap case and throw it away every two or three years when I buy a new setup.

edit: USB 3.1 not USB 3

Is there any chance there will be a second version for the 570X that drops the lighting controls on the Front I/O for more USB? Something like:

2 x USB 3.1
1 x USB-C 3.1 gen 2
1 x USB 2.0

Many 570X owners are not using the Front I/O lightning controls because we are using Lighting Node Pro or Commander Pro making that wasted space. One nitpick point that almost prevented me from buying my 570X was the fact that it's a premium case with only 2 front USB, when competitors such as the Fractal Design R6, NZXT H700, etc have 4 available USB ports.

Just added this panel on my Obsidian airflow edition, but with some changes.

1. Moved USB C to the right
2. Got rid of USB 2.0 and added USB 3.0 from old panel. Why do you need 2.0 if you can add 3.0?

I think this looks better

Tested speed of front panel connected to MoBo with UCB-C on MoBo backplate. Same speed within the error margin

Is Corsair going to release a USB 3.0/USB C upgrade panel for the 900D? I would thing that a lot of owners of the 900D would be interested in this upgrade? Even with it being a 5 year old case I'm betting its still a heavily used case. I would definitely be willing to pony up a few bucks for a upgrade front i/o for the 900D. Make it have 4 USB 3.1 and 2 USB C 3.1 gen2.

Default Corsair 600T

Is there a way to upgrade the front panel or 5.25 inch bay in the 600T case to USB 3.1 Gen 2? My new Z390 motherboard uses that Asus front panel connector.

Well was looking for a new case as I so happy with the Full Tower option as I prefer this over a Mid Tower . The Obsidian 1000D now that is just way to big but I love the glass look of this case and the Obsidian 500D is a Mid Tower Would you do a full tower version of this to replace the 750D as my 780T has no USB C support and I don't think you will be replacing this and no cover to cover the powersupply.

This actually works well with the 570x white. I have the upgrade in my own 570x white and you can't tell that it isn't the original part.

I was a bit perturbed when I received the 570x kit today. Why would they make the usb C port 3.1 and leave the normal port a 3.0? Why make me use both the 3.0 and 3.1 headers on my mother board when both ports could have been 3.1? I bought this kit hoping to free up my 3.0 header...

does the 570 X version have attached IO panel? Anyone have a picture of such? With the panel attached to the wires?
