wernervsneo
TY for reporting LordSabathan so I do not need to went trough the hassel of trying out the new update. I've recently tried all previous versions back to version 3.25.60 which I currently use because this is the first older error free version... Kinjo
Where can I get version 3.25.60? I wish I would have known about this thread before I went out and bought a Corsair case, power supply, ram, and H115i. I spent good money on these products and I'm starting to regret it. nels22
I have a similar issue with this program (Corsair.Service.DisplayAdapter.exe) on shutdown. Win10 Home (64-bit) displays an "exception error" message stating that this is an "unknown program" and stopping the auto shutdown of my system. This requires a MANUAL shutdown, creating an additional issue on startup, where my ASUS bios starts a "circle the wagons" loop and fails to complete the bootup process. The only "cure" I have found is to shutdown and restart the system, resulting in a "normal" startup.:(: The same here, when shutdown windows, that message appears, also iCue... pretty odd

KnightBlue
Getting this error too, RTX 2080 and iCUE version 3.30.97. I think it's causing force crashes in Rainbow 6 Siege, although I can't be certain. It's the only game that I'm getting crashes in.
CloudchaserXI
Getting this error too, RTX 2080 and iCUE version 3.30.97. I think it's causing force crashes in Rainbow 6 Siege, although I can't be certain. It's the only game that I'm getting crashes in. Dude - I've been having PC freezes yesterday and all sorts after a clean install a few weeks ago.(was getting bsod, windows 2004 update, guess what was showing up in the mini dumps?! ICUE.) Clean Installed AGAIN yesterday and the PC was totally fine until I installed ICue. Froze. Used a restore point and again, no issue. I managed to install Icue early hours of this morning and run it for a while without pc freezes but as I open up again today: corsair.service.displayadaptor stopped working when I shut down last night. After doing tests to all my hardware and another clean install yesterday with the pc running absolutely fine with just my gpu driver installed, I can narrow this down to software and definitely not the OS. Only programme crashing in reliability history is ICUE. This is appalling corsair. I stopped installing steelseries engine for over a year because your software hated it. Now it's causing havoc on my (and others) machines. I have pretty much all corsair in my 570x case and use the commander pro for 5 of your fans as well as an h100i rgb platinum cooler. Not being able to use/uninstalling icue isnt really an option!

ikbenben
I managed to install Icue early hours of this morning and run it for a while without pc freezes but as I open up again today: corsair.service.displayadaptor stopped working when I shut down last night. If you don't want that error anymore just delete the file. The only downside of this is that you can't monitor the GPU temp/fan speed in the iCUE dashboard anymore. I've isolated the file in a new folder myself. Same result, no error anymore but also no monitoring the GPU. Edit: Just tested this some more but it seems the GPU sensor isn't available anymore if you move or delete it. So you can't use the sensor for fan control anymore in this case. James702283
Update. Swapped Corsair.Service.DisplayAdapter.exe from 3.25.60 and have no errors all day. Even with restarts of PC. Yeah, this has been the only fix for the last several updates that totally fixes the issue. I love Corsair products and my corsair ecosystem but if the software is bad that controls all of it, what good is it? The support is non existent. How many months has this been an issue? You know that the version in 3.25.60 had no issues, whats so hard about using the corsairdisplayadapter from that version in your updates instead of repeatedly pushing out something with updates you know is broken? That kind of support really makes me not feel good about all the money I've spent on my corsair products.
