OmegaDeath
Hi! I just bought a XMS3 TW3X4G1333C9A G 4GB 1333MHz ( 2X2GB ), but it doesn't work, the pc won't boot and just keep bipping. Before i was using a Corsair 1 gb 1066 (I don't remember the model exactly because i'm at work) and a generic ram ddr3 1333 and it work fine. What i'm doing wrong? Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted May 24, 2012 Corsair Employee Share Posted May 24, 2012 Unfortunately your mother is a socket 775 with the G41 chipset and the most likely cause for your incompatibility is that the memory density you can only support is a 256MB x 8 setup, whereas all our new DDR3 memory is actually 512MB x8. You’ll need to find DDR3 memory that is 256 x 8 in order for it to work with your computer, and we apologize but we don’t make DDR3 in this configuration anymore.
