red-ray Posted October 8, 2016 Share Posted October 8, 2016 The H100iV2 reports a speed to the CPU_FAN header so the BIOS knows the CPU is getting cooled. Without this the BIOS by default warns you that the CPU fan has failed. Corsair have failed to specify what is actually reported, but AFAIK it's the half the pump speed. When you change the pump speed it also changes. Good, the H100iV2 needs a constant +12 volts from the CPU_FAN header. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
nam.uk Posted October 8, 2016 Author Share Posted October 8, 2016 Ah got it,Thanks for that understand now,been looking this afternoon just on that mb fan rpm even searched here and found nothing pitty info like that is not in the box, yea I disabled that Q fan with that lead is for main power now. I take it that h100i temp is the water temp as well? Bit gutted this does not rotate rgb colours as well but can not grumble for a warranty replacement for the H100 at least the pump and pipes look better Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
