Default RGB Hub

I was looking for some new fans earlier, and in the "frequently bought items" section it had an RGB hub. This made me wonder if it is required, as I plan on buying 4 or more RGB fans.

Summary:
Is an RGB hub required for more than one RGB fan?

Thanks!
