66racer Posted March 13, 2012 Share Posted March 13, 2012 Hi guys, Im curious what the comparison would look like with something like a creative labs fatality level soundcard, I currently only use onboard sound but its on my maximus iv gene-z gen3 so its slightly better than the normal onboard but below a deticated card. I just picked up the 1500 on my lunch and cant wait to try it when I get home from work but am having second thoughts on the idea of a usb connection vs the idea of the 1300 with an analog connection. I can always return them, the two units seem the same minus the 1500's built in sound processor but unsure how good it can really be, I never had a usb headset. Anyone care to chime in?
