Hello I got this AIO (Corsair iCUE H150i RGB Pro XT, 360mm Radiator) to install on my CPU Intel I7700, On this Mobo ASUS ROG Maximus IX Hero Z270 LGA1151. I got it installed in my Case but My Temps are all over the Place. I had to turn the Fans on Extream mode to be able to keep temps down to were I can use my Computer to Find help on this. I did not have this problem with my other AIO. but it got old and Gave up. my temps are 42 to 45 at idle but it shoots up to 60 and higher when the Computer is at idle not doing anything. I took the pump off and Clean the stock paste and bought a new Arctic Silver 5 and applied that. it help but but still the temps are just all over the place. not sure really how to explain this. anyone know what the problem might be. before with my Other AIO my temps stayed at 30 to 40 never got Higher then 55 playing games. and the temps always stayed at a steady temp. my motherboard and vidcard is in the 30c range and vid is 42c. I have not overclock anything in my system. was not able to Find a place to Install the tact Cable on my Motherboard. since it's a 3 pin and all my places to connect to are 4 pin and I not sure were to install it. since the manual is Really bad. thanks for the any help and sorry for such a long post.

Which temp specifically are you talking about? CPU temps? If so, there's nothing here that's that far out of range for a stock 7700K, especially on an Asus board. And nothing at all that would cause you to not use the computer. Your CPU will thermal throttle when it gets into dangerous territory.

More information is required.

Specifically:

1) Which temps are you specifically referring to?

2) What is the coolant temp of the cooler?

3) And this is an important one - what is your vCore (aka vCPU)?

See what I never seen before is my Core temps all over the place even at idle and they can get up to 70c when Comp is doing nothing. thats what I mean the temps are just constant changing? Never had that problem before.
