Default K70 RGB not recognized by CUE?

CUE version 2.24.50
Windows 10 64 bit
Keyboard plugged in via single keyboard marked plug into a USB 3.0 port
Keyboard is showing in connected devices.
everything on it works properly except for volume controls- i'm typing from it, as is.
Thoughts?

First thing, check the bottom of your keyboard and look at the sticker.

If you own a K70 RGB, K70RGB Lux, K70 Lux, K70RGB Rapidfire, or K70 Rapidfire then make sure that the switch on the back of the keyboard is set to 1, 2, or 4. Make sure it is not set to BIOS.

If you do not have any of those 5 models, and have a CORSAIR GAMING K70, VENGEANCE K70, or any static lighting K70 that is not a LUX or Rapidfire, then your keyboard predates CUE and does not connect through it.

Default Thank you

Been digging around for a while as I have the K70 Vengeance that would not connect to iCue, now I know why. Appreciate this.
