Will the fans that came with the H80 be suitable for a test? When I plugged in the fans for my original h80 to the cooling node, they were not recognised by the link.

Current should not be an issue. The failed fan was 0.35A. The other fans on the node are 0.4A. So load should not have been an issue.

They will need to be 3 Pin TAC Fans some of the fans we bundle with our coolers are 4 Pin PWM fans would be best connected to the cooler with the interconnect connected to the link to control them. Sorry for that.

If anyone in this thread is interested in trying the latest version of the software and Firmware state it and I will contact you. This is the next version and will fix some of the issues with fan compatibility but may NOT fix all of them internally we are all using this version and it has been 100% stable but we have not officially released as of yet.

I tried to send you a PM, but the system blocked me from doing that.

May I suggest that you ask the product manager and/or the engineering manager to do a formal beta test. Right now, Corsair is "hoping" that some people will volunteer to test with their third-party fans. But "hope" is not a "plan."

Thank you all for helping and we will be posting this today or tomorrow. It does fix some of the fan compatibility but not all. I will post a link in this thread once it is up.

Is this version tested with water pumps or just some fans? Wondering, so if its the case I would go ahead and help to test it also.
