WayneC0rsair
I'm a long time corsair customer. I've used their memory and power supply products and they have never let me down. However, I've never used their SSDs yet. I'm currently in the process of building a second system to be nearly identical to my main system except for one thing. I'd like to give Corsair a shot at the SSD setup instead of (V2, what I'm currently using). How does the Force GT 90GB drive compare to the (V2)? Doesn't need to be faster but definitely not slower. I can't find a benchmark of one vs the other and all benchmarks I've found vary quit a bit. Any info would be greatly appreciated!
Wired
You can't find a comparison because the non-Corsair one is SATA II whereas the Force 3 is SATA III.
WayneC0rsair
Okay, that was sort of obvious. Aside from that, if I could find benchmarks for comparison that were apples vs apples, that would be nice. Benchmarks are going to vary based on which software was used, so that's generally no help. What's the difference between the GT series and F series? They have very similar specs. Both use sandforce Se-2200 and SATA III. The GT seems to be a hair faster but is that worth the additional cost?
Toasted
Force GT has an Asynchronous NAND Flash Force 3 has an Synchronous NAND Flash.
